I have a Holmes HAP2400B-U Air Purifier. It is a HEPA type with an ionizer function. I paid about $32 for it. Works great in a room that is 10×18. Replacement filters run about $12. Filters are supposed to last around three months. Does a great job and I am thinking of buying one for other rooms of the house.

I bought my first Holmes Air Purifier for a guest room. I have cats and my friends are allergic to them. The purifier works so well, I bought another for my bedroom. The various settings are great and the low setting sound is calming at night (like white noise.) The ceiling fans in both rooms do not require cleaning as the purifier pulls the dust out of the air.
